RESMAN has been nominated by Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) for its IOR prize, where the winner will be announced at ONS in Stavanger on August 28, 2018.
The RESMAN Norway team are humbled by this nomination from NPD as no less than 26 nominations were received by the jury for this year’s award, and these varied greatly. Companies, fields, technologies, research institutes and individuals were among those nominated.
After thorough consideration, the jury arrived at three finalists. The winner will be announced at a major event on 28 August at the ONS conference in Stavanger, which runs from 27-30 August.
RESMAN CEO, Gunnar Hviding states: ”This nomination is in line with the goals of RESMAN to support operators on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) by providing them with meaningful reservoir surveillance data, adding inflow understanding to their decision making tasks thus enabling the operators to better manage their producing assets. The team here in Norway are proud of this prestigious nomination.”
Within NCS, several dozen operating assets have implemented RESMAN continuous reservoir surveillance technology which include operators such as Equinor (Statoil), AkerBP (Det Norske / Marathon), BG, ConocoPhillips, Eni, Lundin, Total, Shell, and Wintershall.
RESMAN which was founded in Trondheim Norway, currently holds a track record of over 485 wells with 52 different operators spanning 36 countries.
