Stavanger, Norway (Nov 20, 2015) — RESMAN announces that its Chemical PLT® has now been successfully validated by seven conventional PLT operations with four operators globally.

The direct comparison between conventional PLTs and the Chemical PLT® was performed with seven PLT runs in a diverse mix of well designs, ranging from highly deviated Open Hole Gravel Packs to multi-stage hydraulic fracturing applications.

The results from these seven operations demonstrated that the tracer production logs obtained with RESMAN’s low-risk and interventionless technology are analogous to conventional PLTs, both in subsea and dry tree environments.

Additionally, this validation reinforces the robustness and accuracy of RESMAN’s patented inflow quantification model, which was initially verified in 2013 in a full-scale, flow-loop test with joint industry project (JIP) partners Eni and Statoil. The Flush Out™ quantification model has been successfully applied in several projects, mostly in complex subsea environments with up to 12.5 miles (20 km) of production tie back from the subsea wellhead to the production facility, and in commingled flow conditions.
