10-years longevity is now a reality! RESMAN has made a breakthrough with its revolutionary production logging technology
The Evolution of Production Logging – RESMAN’s vision has always been to enable operators with the ability to monitor their reservoirs throughout the wells’ life with an easy and cost-effective wireless solution. Gradual improvements in the longevity of RESMAN’s Intelligent Tracer systems, coupled with robust, field-proven, proprietary inflow quantification models (ChemicalPLT™), has, and is enabling RESMAN to offer a superior solution to conventional logging that is risk-free, interventionless, long-term, and low-cost. End user satisfaction has been built over thousands of system installations around the globe and the development of RESMAN’s services is a result of great customer interaction.
Based on a recent breakthrough from RESMAN’s “Life of Well” technology program, Oil & Gas operators can now wirelessly monitor their reservoirs for up to 10 years by using RESMAN reservoir surveillance technology. This advancement comes prior to the company’s 10th anniversary in May 2015: a great way to celebrate the company’s maturity by making ‘’10 in 10’’!
A Decade Long Journey – RESMAN founders Fridtjof Nyhavn and Anne Dalager Dyrli shed some light on the exciting journey of developing this revolutionary technology.

Nyhavn states: ‘’The vision since the company’s inception has always been to strive for the life of well, risk-free wireless production profile, thus allowing Oil & Gas operators the ability to understand what flows from where and how much’’. Nyhavn, RESMAN’s Corporate Technology Advisor continues by saying; ‘’Our revolutionary breakthrough in being able to robustly quantify zonal inflow was a dramatic milestone reached back in 2009; this enhancement in longevity of our patented technologies allows the Oil & Gas community a truly unique and reliable surveillance technology to aid in their management of their assets and well-completions.’’ Dalager-Dyrli, the VP of Chemistry and Materials adds: ‘’The materials science was the most important aspect of the early days of RESMAN to allow for reliable behaviors in the harsh downhole conditions and to increase the resolution for increased number of wells with a high number of Intelligent Tracer systems. The technology development has continually advanced over the years yet the cornerstone for the life of well program has just begun; we are very excited about what we are bringing to the market in the next couple of years’’.
RESMAN is proud to announce an important milestone is reached and finally RESMAN enables wireless surveillance for the life of the well.
